  • ¼ cup onions (square-shaped cut)

  • 2 onions (chopped)

  • 4 tomatoes (chopped)

  • 2 tbsp ginger-garlic paste

  • 1 tsp red chili powder

  • 3 tsp coriander powder

  • ½ tp turmeric powder

  • ½ black pepper powder

  • 4 tbsp butter

  • Salt to taste

  • Chopped coriander leaves for garnish

Cooking Method

  1. Keep a pan on medium flame, add the butter into it and let it heat. As the butter gets hot, add the ginger-garlic paste and stir it for a minute. Once the ginger-garlic has changed the color to golden, add chopped onions and stir until they turn translucent. Now, add chopped tomatoes and sauté for the next 2-3 minutes.

  2. Add all the spices like red chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, black pepper, and salt. Add the tomato puree and keep stirring the mixture for the next five minutes till the butter separates. Pour ¼ cup of water and add diced bell peppers & onions and continue stirring for another 3-4 minutes.

  3. Then add fresh cream and stir it well. Once the bell peppers are half cooked, add the paneer cubes and mix them properly so the mixture smears all over the paneer cubes. Cook on low heat for the next 3-4 minutes and turn off the flame by garnishing it with ginger and coriander leaves.
